So I got to design Gaster for DeterminedBurito 's AU TreasureTale, and here it is!

Story:

Before Sans and Paps we're born, Gaster was both a Scientist and a Treasure Hunter, mostly collecting Reliques or Artifacts for researches. But one day, something went wrong to The CORE, and his existence was taken. Not only that his existence and memories of him are gone, all the Reliques and Artifacts merged with his new "Void-Body". But here's a twist. Remember that Ancient Artifact you found in a Secret Room at WaterFalls? Well, here, whatever that thing is, it brought him back. And guess who gave him the Artifact? Annoying Doggo! Now he's stuck with smile, cracks, and blue-orange eyes, with hand-holes. And yes, Annoying Doggo is his follower and partner (also pet) now.
